BIKERS FOR BRIANNA -- POKER RUN

Saturday the 28th of July 2007

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It takes just a moment to change
As life passes us by way too fast
All we do will reflect on tomorrows
But our memories will forever on last
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I would like to thank everyone that braved the cold start to the day to come along on the run and give their support.

The day was a great success. Everyone had a great time. There is lots of talk about next year's run already.

Doing a bike run not only reminds us of Steve, but helps Brianna, Steve's daughter. We all felt the loss on that fateful

day. This run helps to show Judy just how much he meant to his friends. This will be an annual Poker Run from now on.

This being the first, we have learnt a few things, so next year will be bigger and better.

Again. Thankyou to everyone that joined us for the day and helped make sure Brianna knows her daddy

will not be forgotten.

Anyone that would like a copy of the photos, just email me and leave your details and I'll send out a cd

with all the pics I took.

Thanks. Nick.

Leaving the mount, on the first leg of the run to Tarana Pub

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All arrived safely at the Tarana Pub to get the second card, and a drink...
Getting set for the next ride. To the Tourist Hotel, Oberon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Getting our third card in Oberon.. And a drink...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fourth card was drawn at the Clubhouse Hotel in Rockley... And another drink...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The final stop. The Farmer's Arms back in Bathurst

Everyone lining up for a sausage sandwich or two... After a drink...

Not everyone could be a winner unfortunately, but we all had a great time anyway. Mark ended up

with the best hand. Unfortunately he had to work and was unable to ride with us today, so his hand was played

for him by a friend. When I told him he had won, he was stoked! Saying it meant a lot to him.

He and Steve were close.

Next year the ride will be on a sunday so Mark can come along, and lots of others that had to work on saturday.

Below are pics of second and third prize winners. Such good hands. Full house, straights, and lots of three of

a kind. We needed more prizes....

I'd like to thank all the businesses that donated the prizes for the day. In alphabetical order:

Beard Brothers Motorcycles

Caltex (Oilsplus - Durham St. Bathurst)

Devro

Great Western Motorcycles

Mick Muldoon Motorcycles

Stop'n'Rock Bathurst

Thankyou again to everyone that turned out for a very successful ride day.

Nick.
