It doesnt seem like twelve months have past since that tragic day when Steve lost his life.

On the 23rd of July, 2006, we ventured out on

the Oberon road to the site of Steve's accident to remember a mate.

About 40 of us attended the memorial service we held. Steve's wife, Judy, and his daughter Brianna also attended.

We all feel Judy's and Brianna's loss.

Paul said a few heart felt words that hit home to us all, then unveiled the memorial made for Steve.

After we all took time to take in the moment, we continued on our ride through Hampton,

on through Lithgow, with a stop at the Tarana pub. Then back to Bathurst.

I hope that Steve's death can serve as a reminder to us all just how fragile our lives really are. That a split second

can change our's and the lives of those around us forever!

Our bikes give us enjoyment, but should never be taken for granted.

Ride on Dicko.

Nick.
